Lar Lubovitch Dance Company Celebrates its 35th Anniversary with the World Premiere of Pentimento, May 11-22, 2004

The Lar Lubovitch Dance Company often shows up in surprising places and achieves equally surprising artistic triumphs. So why should the company's 35th anniversary be any different? Lubovitch, whose troupe has performed in major venues throughout the world, will celebrate the occasion with two weeks at the historic Washington Square United Methodist Church, May 11 - 22, featuring the world premiere of a new work titled Pentimento, set to a commissioned score by Richard Woodbury.

35th Anniversary Benefit Gala Planned for May 13th.

Lar Lubovitch celebrates a previous opening night with F. Murray Abraham and Judy Peabody.

In celebration of its 35th anniversary, the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company is planning a special gala on Thursday, May 13th. The benefit includes:

A pre-performance reception (silent auction, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres)
at the Mimi Ferzt Gallery, 114 Prince Street, SoHo;

The world premiere of PENTIMENTO at the historic Washington Square Church, 135 West 4th Street, Greenwich Village;

and a post-performance dinner (with Lar and the dancers) at
CHURRASCARIA PLATAFORMA, 221 West Broadway, TriBeCa.

Join the Company in London for Performances at Queen Elizabeth Hall on July 3rd

Travel to London to see the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company when it performs at Queen Elizabeth Hall in the heart of London's South Bank.
 

Join the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company on its London tour! The Company will be performing at Queen Elizabeth Hall, in the heart of London's South Bank. Tentative travel dates are June 30 - July 5. Due to the three-day holiday weekend, the trip spans only two business days. The program will include the European premieres of ...smile with my heart and Men's Stories. The trip will also include exclusive social events and dinners at London's hottest restaurants. Details to follow.
